STEM at Home — Space Science Exploration Kit

Explore moon phases, crater impacts, and the scale of the solar system — all from your kitchen table! Pairs directly with EdTech Academy's Workshop 8: Space Science — Moon Phases, Craters & the Solar System (July STEM Workshops 2026).

Students model all 8 moon phases using Oreo cookies, simulate meteorite impacts in a flour crater lab, and explore the true scale of the solar system. The most fun an Oreo has ever had in a science class.

Kit includes:

• Oreo cookies (8 — for moon phase modeling)

• Moon phase reference chart (8 phases labeled)

• Craft tray (for crater simulation)

• Impact spheres / marbles (4 sizes)

• Ruler

• Solar system scale reference card
