You are invited to the first-ever EdTech Academy Nerd Night — a virtual STEM social for adults who think science is fun. Everyone shows up, introduces themselves, and we all build the same thing at the same time. For Nerd Night #001 the challenge is an egg drop capsule. Engineer a structure that protects a raw egg from a 10-foot drop using materials from home. Run of show: 6:50pm — Doors open, early hangout 7:00pm — Introductions and one science fact from everyone 7:15pm — Challenge brief and build time 7:45pm — Everyone drops live on camera 7:55pm — The science reveal: impulse, momentum, and NASA connections 8:05pm — Wrap up and sneak peek at Nerd Night #002 FREE event — 30 spots only.
